BOB THORNHILL BUYER'S AGENT BARRY BROWN TEAM
Bob was a 1974 graduate from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, Missouri with a Master's Degree in Psychology.
He obtained his Missouri Real Estate License in 1978 and in 1979 he obtained his Broker's License.
Bob listed and sold real estate for 3 years before moving into management.
For 5 years he was Broker/Manager of Century 21 Towne Square Properties, the largest Century 21 franchise in the Sate of Missouri at that time with 125 agents.
In 1985 the Broker/Owner sold the C-21 Franchise to become RE/MAX Hidden Creek.
For 16 years Bob had been Broker/Manager of RE/MAX Hidden Creek, a company of 80 full time agents.
Bob was selected Broker/Manager of the year in 1988 from the RE/MAX 4-State Region of Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Bob recently earned the new E-Pro Designation.
In addition to real estate sales and management, Bob created the firms first Property Management Company and was also their manager.
In addition to managing property for others, Bob himself acquired a portfolio of over 200 rental units over the years and has personally managed these units for 20 years. During the last 2 years, he has liquidated his rental portfolio, which has enabled him to fulfill his dream of moving to Maui in 2002.
Bob also was the founder and past President of the Jackson County Landlords' Association with over 200 member landlords.
Over the years Bob had been the primary trainer for new agents in the company and has developed new programs using the latest in real estate technology to give his agents the advantage in the marketplace.
Bob had also taught continuing education courses for Missouri.

PEG THORNHILL GRI, ABR, SRES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE BARRY BROWN TEAM
Peg began her real estate career in 1989 with RE/MAX Hidden Creek in Independence, Missouri.
She was a full time agent helping 30-35 families a year have a successful moving experience, whether it was with a buyer or seller she made it a smooth transaction.
In 1992 she received her GRI designation, which stands for Graduate Realtor Institute. She also completed the Floyd Wickman's Master Sales Academy Graduate status that same year.
In 1995 she completed the designation ABR - Accredited Buyer Representative.
Then again in 1999 she broadened her area of expertise by completing the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation, SRES. Working with seniors was an especially rewarding experience.
In 2002, Peg and her husband Bob (Buyer Agent for Barry) moved to Maui to pursue their dreams. Peg is also an artist and will be fulfilling that dream along with working with the Barry Brown team.

Competition for homes is high in hot markets. When you are a seller faced with multiple offers on your home, how do you choose the best one? Your real estate agent can help you compare and contrast the terms of each proposal.
Look at the price of each offer and evaluate your net profit. Next, consider the terms of each contract. How "clean" is each offer? Are there contingencies that affect the sale, such as the buyers needing to sell another property before they can finalize the purchase of your home? Can you work out a mutually agreeable date for you to move out and for the buyers to move in? Can you get reasonable assurances that the buyers will be able to qualify for the financing they will need?
